pychickВозможно, кто-то толкнулся сегодня с проблемой - ICQ после соединения с сервером намертво висла (загружая при этом процессор не по детски). Как выяснилось в результате долгих экспериментов, причиной этого оказалась потеря некоторыми DNS-серверами записи о домене login.icq.com. Решить проблему грубо, но элегантно, можно, добавив строчку 64.12.200.89 login.icq.com в файлик c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts подручными средствами. Естественно, с поправками на ваше расположение папки Windows.
Т.е. после лечения файлик должен выглядеть примерно так:

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
